Our founder’s passion for companion animals came organically from his parents love of

dogs and horses, forming early memories of animals in his life.  

Christian’s mother discovered her love of dogs when “Skippy” came into her life as a gift from

her parents and her love of horses blossomed as she visited her aunt’s farm as a child. 

Christian’s father served in the US Army’s K-9 Corps, igniting his love of dogs.  He often fondly recalled how “Rebbie,” a German Shepherd scout dog, saved his life many times in the jungles of Vietnam.  Later, his father too would be bitten by the horse bug after meeting Christian’s mom.  Christian’s earliest memories are of the family’s rescue St. Bernard “Bernie” frolicking in the backyard, loving on everyone she met and riding his mother’s appaloosa, “Lady,” even before learning to ride a bike.  Dogs and horses have been a part of Christian’s life since day one, he cannot imagine a day without a animal companion by his side.  

Companion Life Therapeutics was born from Christian’s desire to extend the health span

of his beloved companion Mick.  Mick was a once in a lifetime dog who Christian adopted

from a rescue shelter.  Having a career in the pharmaceutical industry and a passion

to extend his own health span, Christian knew the advances in research and therapies

for human health span could often translate to companion animals.  There are a

significant number of compounds and therapies that can help our pets live healthier

and longer lives.  Companion Life Therapeutics purpose is to bring those therapies

to market and extend the quality time we have with our companions who give us their all.

research programs, trials and areas of interest to help our fellow pet parents make

the best decisions for the heath of their companions while making the most efficacious

and safest therapies available to our fellow animal lovers.
